The Ticketing Manager will be responsible for driving successful event attendance. This includes, and is centered around, creating an
effective and successful events ticket sales plan for the organizer and ensuring its execution on the day of the Event.
Achieve established goals as set by the Operation Manager.
Support Event Organizers that use Platinumlist ticketing solution.
Will be assigned multiple events which you will be responsible to coordinate all aspects of ticketing from start to finish.
Discussing client’s needs, uploading the event online, and helping the client to use the ticketing system. (Full training for the system will be provided).
Good management skills and always be within reach of the client virtually at any time of day including weekends.
Manage the entire team of ticket sellers and scanners on the Event day and facilitate smooth entry and ticket sale on site.
Handle all the Cash and POS transactions on event day and providing exact reports on it.
Create a great customer experience for people buying the tickets whilst keeping the costs down and keeping the event organizer satisfied.
Create and periodically update a procedures manual for training program sellers to include: inventory control, sales methods, cash handling.
Solve problems on the go in small amount of time and in crowded environments.
Deal with different types of customer requests and complaints and solve them with ease.
Create Ticket Sales Plan and provide weekly updates on progress against the plan to Operation Manager.
Develop and implement plans to promote and increase ticket sales for all events.
Coordinate with teammates including marketing and support to expand attendance at all events.
Research, prospect and establish leads for relationships through industry networking
Ensure effective and efficient coverage of all inquiries including telephone, online and direct sales.
Support the organization’s efforts to create a fan experience that aligns with CEO’s vision for Platinumlist.
6 days a week.
You will be working most weekends till late.
Usual days off are Saturdays or Sundays with Sunday you must be on emails and on the phone.
You must be free to travel to Dubai and other cities in KSA
Office location will be in Riyadh.
Qualifications Qualified candidates will have:
5+ years’ experience, preferably in Events field or customer service.
Self-motivated team player with a proven ability to work with aggressive individual and team goals
Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients and coworkers -- strong existing relationships a plus
Strong interpersonal communications skills and attention to details are a must
Possess superior negotiation skills.
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
Proficient in PowerPoint and excel
Ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as required
Strong commitment to and demonstrated success in delivering a high level of customer and fan experience
Strong leadership, and management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
Own a car.
Worked in Event Industry. (Ticketing)
Knowledge of Photoshop and illustrator.
Key Candidate Requirements
Must be fluent in both spoken and written Arabic and English.
Must have managed some aspects of operational delivery of sizeable events including management of teams. Ideally this experience will be in ticketing/access control, but may be in a related area or in a role demonstrating transferrable skill sets.
Must have demonstrable experience in managing multiple P&Ls across a range of service-based products.
Must have demonstrable experience of managing client relationships.
Must have new business development/sales/sales management experience.
Must have at least 3 years of team management experience.
Must have a university degree.
The position of Saudi Nationals only
Experience in managing ticketing of public events. Ideally the candidate should have worked within a ticketing agency in an operational or sales-based role for at least 3 years. However candidates without specific ticketing experience will be considered if the meet the other key criteria.
Knowledge of the Saudi Arabia sports, entertainment and business-to-business events industry.
Experience of dealing with and negotiating with government and semi-government bodies in KSA.
Experience of building client relationships and selling to new potential clients in a service-based industry.
Experience of recruiting, managing and developing sales and operations teams.
Must be numerate, literate and articulate
Must be presentable
Must have a university degree or equivalent, ideally in a relevant topic
Must be capable of working independently
Should have a flexible attitude to working hours as the events industry is not a “9 to 5” industry and requires work to be carried out outside normal working hours
Must be available to travel if required
Must hold a KSA driving license or international driving license that can be converted easily to a KSA driving license
